NEW CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE
Prior to scheduling any new pet sit schedule, an in-home Client Consultation is required.
In order to build rapport and confidence in both clients and pets, a 5-visit minimum for check ins/walks, and 2 nights minimum for overnights and live-ins is required for the first booking. **Minimums are not required for future bookings.**
NOTICE IS REQUIRED FOR CANCELATIONS PRIOR TO THE START OF SERVICE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT (except holidays): 48 Hours for Check In Visit Schedules; 7 days for Overnight Schedules; 14 days for Live In Schedules. Deposits are non refundable but can be applied to future pet sits if canceled within our policy. PLEASE REVIEW HOLIDAY POLICY BELOW.
***NO VISITORS AND SERVICE VENDORS DURING PET SITS***
While Yesspet Pet Care is caring for your pets, NO other persons are allowed in your home or on your property WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE/APPROVAL. This is an insurance requirement; we cannot "share" pet sitting duties with other providers, family members or friends. If you have housekeepers or other inside services, please do not schedule them while your pet is being cared for.
Outdoor services may also be put on hiatus during pet sitting. This is to ensure the complete safety of your pet(s).
THE PRESENCE OF OTHER PERSONS IN/ON YOUR HOME/PROPERTY VOIDS OUR LIABILITY and may be cause for immediate cessation of services without refund. We take the care of your pets and property, and the safety of our team, very seriously. Once we have established service, we may be able to make adjustments on an individual basis. Liability will still be waived when others are present inside your home, or as a result of others on your property. We are not accountable for any harm or damage to your pets or property as a result of others in/on your home/property.
>>RATES, PAYMENTS, AND BOOKING
Our basic rates and fees are available on the services/rates page of our website, https://yesspet.com/services. Rates are subject to change. Should rates increase after you book your service, the rate at which the service was invoiced is honored.
>>DEPOSITS
A deposit of 1/2 of the balance of services at the time of booking is required to confirm dates, with the balance due on or before the first day of service.
***PLEASE NOTE: Dates will NOT be held without a deposit. We offer a 72 hour grace period between invoicing and the receipt of deposits where your dates and schedule will be held. If deposit is not received, the booking will be cancelled.
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE but may be carried over to the next service, with the exception of holiday bookings and those cancelled with fewer than 48 hours notice prior to the first date of service.
>>HOLIDAYS
***Effective 11/01/2024, All holiday bookings (holidays listed below, as well as "Spring Break" and "Fall Break" on Kyrene/Local school calendars require a non-refundable 1/2 balance, non-refundable deposit upon booking. Deposits for holiday period Check In visits may be credited to future service with 45 days notice of cancellation. Deposits for Live In and Overnight holiday cancellations may be credited with 90 days notice.
Holiday Surcharge: pet sits that occur on the following Federal Holidays: December 25, January 1, Martin Luther King's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, as well as Dec 24 and 31, will be charged at 1 1/2 times regular rate.
>>CANCELLATIONS
We use your reservation to plan availability to our clients. When you book our services, we reserve exclusive time for you and your pets and have likely turned away other clients during your scheduled time. Please notify us as soon as you can if you must cancel service.
Deposits are non-refundable for all bookings, but may be credited to a future service if cancellation is made with more than 48 hours notice prior to the date service starts (with the exception of holidays, please see above). No credit is given for less than 48 hours notice. Credits must be used within the same calendar year in which they are issued.
****EARLY RETURN: We do NOT offer refunds/credits for clients returning home early, or if changes are made once a schedule has started. 48 hours notice prior to schedule start of any change in schedule is required to receive credit****
>>BUSINESS HOURS AND SERVICE AREAS
Pet sitting services are provided on a 24-hour a day basis.
Business/contact hours are 7-days a week, 6am to 7pm. All calls, texts, emails and messages are returned promptly; those received after 7pm will be returned the following date.
Yesspet Pet Care services clients in Ahwatukee zip codes 85044, 85045, 85048, within 7 miles of our business address. Outside of 7 miles, a mileage fee of $1.00 mile/RT is charged.
>>SERVICES PROVIDED DURING VISITS
We are devoted to your pets' care and comfort, and to your sense of security. Your pet and home instructions are secured in our Pawsitively Precise software, and you will receive notes/pictures from each visit in a journal which is provided after each visit.
Basic check in services include, but are not limited to:
--DOGS
*overall health check
*feeding, bowls cleaned; water bowls cleaned, refilled;
*yard picked up each visit; yard/home inspected for pet damage, areas tidied
*playtime, or walk if booked. Use of enrichment toys when indicated
--Cats:
*overall health check
*litter box cleaned/refreshed, litter box area cleaned
*feed/water/clean bowls
*playtime . Use of enrichment toys when indicated
--Caged pets (hamsters, gerbils, birds reptiles, etc);
*water and food checked
*bedding cleaned/replaced as necessary.
--Additional Complimentary Home Care Services (upon request) :
*pick up mail
*water indoor plants
*watch for/retrieve packages
*turn lights on/off
*take out/bring in trash containers
NOTE: Check In Services provided are limited to the time frame of the visit selected. If extra time is required (excessive clean up of in-home accidents, additional home responsibilities, emergency services, etc.), an additional fee commensurate to the time spent may be assessed.
>>CHECK-IN VISITS
Drop in pet sitting visits are scheduled within the following windows of services.
--MORNING 6am-9am
--MIDMORNING 9-11am
--MIDDAY 11am - 2pm
-AFTERNOON 2pm-4pm
--EVENING 4pm-7pm.
Each client is scheduled with an eye to how many hours between visits are desired. Requests for visits earlier or later than posted hours may be honored, with an additional fee.
Emergency and last-minute visits may be added to an existing schedule, pending availability, with no fee.
Additional service fees may apply for single visits, or visits requested with less than 48 hours' notice.
**If extra time is required (excessive clean up of in-home accidents, emergency services, etc.), an additional fee commensurate to the time spent may be assessed.
>>LIVE-IN SERVICES: OVERNIGHT PET CARE IN YOUR HOME
Overnight and live in services provide all the basics, plus the extra care and attention given with extended time. There's a lot of petting, belly rubs, and quiet "conversation" during all of our visits. We go for walks, play, and enjoy puzzles and other games.
>>HOME CAMERA AND CLIENT PICTURE POLICIES
--CAMERA POLICY: We understand and appreciate our clients' desire for security and safety when using in-home cameras. When we are pet sitting in-home, we require disclosure of all camera locations, inside and out. We do not allow active cameras in areas in which we sleep or have personal purpose; if there are cameras in those locations, they must be disabled when we are in the home, for our privacy. Non-adherence to this policy is cause for immediate cancellation of service without refund/credit.
--PICTURE POLICY: We own, and may use pictures taken during our services in our promotional materials/Facebook, website, etc. These are NOT published while the client is still away during services. Many clients enjoy seeing their furry family members spotlighted! If you do not want your pictures used in this manner, please let us know.
>>UPDATES TO POLICIES
Our policies are subject to change. Updates will be made clearly and easily accessible to all clients via our website, yesspet.com, as well as within your profile/account.
